Aberdeen's Winter Festival
Aberdeen's Winter Festival will see the city sparkle with a programme packed with festive entertainment, excitement and fun. Chosen from theatre, parades, concerts, party nights and street markets. There is something for everyone this festive period.
Local residents or visitors to the city can welcome Santa and his reindeer as they parade down Union Street and be dazzled when our stunning brand new festive streetlights are switched on.
Go along to the theatre and enjoy a swashbuckling panto adventure Peter Pan.
For the young at heart there will be the chance to rock the night away with Status Quo or jig to one of the worlds best Ceilidh bands or fling the night away at the fabulous Fiddlers Rally.
Be moved by the 18th century setting for carols by candlelight or join the family singalong to The Snowman.
Dancers can waltz the night away at the Snow Ball, while others may want to listen to Handels Messiah.
As the year draws to a close, revellers can ring out the old and ring in the new with Aberdeen's Winter Festival Hogmanay Street Party.
The festival ends at the end of January with a celebration of Rabbie Burns.
Aberdeens Winter Festival brochures are available from various outlets across Aberdeen City and Shire including hotels, Tourist Information shop, The Point, Museums and Art Galleries and National Trust properties or you can down load it by clicking on the image above.
