Investment Opportunity
Local demand for office space is far outstripping supply. Consequently, prime office rents in Aberdeen continue to grow. The Energy Futures Centre will capitalise on this demand and attract successful high tech, knowledge based, energy enterprises.
Conceptual designs have been produced by RMJM and a business case is currently being prepared. A highly visible and prominent site has been earmarked on the beachfront of Aberdeen to showcase this 21st century Scottish landmark. Initial plans show that the building will comprise approximately 7,500sqm of mixed use space including:
- commercial office space
- meeting/ conference/ event space
- a specialist careers/ employment/ recruitment zone
- a science centre attraction
- public realm space
AREG is now actively seeking an investor/developer and wish to investigate all options for developing, funding and operating the building. For further information visit the Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group web site or email Morag McCorkindale.
