Energetica is an ambitious public-private partnership designed to create the world's greatest concentration of energy technology companies, housing and leisure facilities along a 30-mile coastal strip between Peterhead and Aberdeen - Europe's energy capital.

Energetica will be unique - bringing together talented people and providing them with a stimulating environment in which to be creative. Over the next 20 years a range of commercial investment opportunities will be brought forward.

Aberdeen Science Parks

The Aberdeen Science Parks are located near historic Old Aberdeen, home to one of the city's two universities. Owned and managed by Scottish Enterprise, the parks provide the perfect location for companies engaged in research, design and development across a range of technologies including life sciences and energy. Over 2,000 people currently work at the Aberdeen Science Parks.

Planning consent has been granted to develop a further 17 hectares (42 aces) of land at the Science and Energy Park to provide around 35,000 sq m (100,000 sq ft) of new class 4 accommodation. Scottish Enterprise is seeking a developer/investor partner to provide critical infrastructure and services and to build-out the Park.
