Business Clubs
Business clubs are an important source of networking, knowledge sharing and peer-support. Many new entrants to the business world find these clubs to be a vital part of their development.
Clubs in the area include:
- Aberdeen Entrepreneurs: a forum for the mutual sharing of ideas, initiatives and information. Open to anyone with an interest in the practical or theoretical side of business. The group also offers opportunities for networking, support and personal development. Representatives from both small and large organisations are welcome to join the group.
- Business Network Scotland: hosts monthly networking events in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. These bring together decision makers from a wide range of businesses with a common aim - to promote their business and to expand their network of service providers. Attendance is restricted to company decision makers who have both a buying and selling authority. To ensure a good balance, numbers from similar types of business are restricted.
- Business Network International (BNI): the world's largest referral organisation and a business and professional networking organisation that offers members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, referrals.
- e-Business Club is your opportunity to learn and share information about how ICT can improve your business performance. The Club is designed to provide UK businesses with essential information and help and provides an impartial forum for members to discuss and understand how eBusiness can revolutionise and improve business processes. The clubs are supported nationally through the UK-wide partnership initiative managed by the British Chambers of Commerce.
