Golf Resort Developments
Aberdeen city and shire offers a range of exciting golf resort development opportunities. Donald Trump has chosen the Menie Estate just north of the City as the location for his £1bn golf resort complete with two links courses, a five star hotel, and a range of holiday homes and condominiums. To the south of the city Jack Nicklaus is designing another championship course at Urie House.
Highlighted here are some the current investment and development opportunities:
Blairs College, Aberdeen
Located on the edge of Aberdeen, Blairs is an architecturally and historically significant group of buildings designed as a Catholic Seminary dating back to 1829. Set in landscaped policies, Blairs enjoys fishing rights on the nearby River Dee. The Muir Group is currently seeking an investment partner and operator for a high quality hotel - the centrepiece of a development that includes a golf course designed by Open Champion Paul Lawrie, conference centre, equestrian centre and up to 280 houses. The planning application is expected to be determined during 2008.
