Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U)

To help them learn from Aberdeens experience in growing an indigenous energy industry.

Aberdeen also has links with the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) in Almaty.

Developing New Industries

The Akims (governors) of these regions are working with representatives from Aberdeen to bring together Kazakh and British companies to assist in developing new industries in Western Kazakhstan. It is hoped that Western Kazakhstan can also increase local content in the projects that are being carried out there by foreign, including British, companies.
